Today just goes to show that if you have a good set of golf clubs it is half the battle. I bought a bunch of clubs yesterday. Actually, some I bought and some I was given. I have been taking lessons at the Saginaw Golf Center. They have a set of left handed irons for women and a driver. They have been feeling sorry for me because there are no clubs anywhere that i can try. So, the gave me a really good set of irons for free. They charged me $10 for the $199.00 driver. I got the bag (lime green-a subtle little bag:)) and my driver for 20% off. I paid full price for a three driver and a three hybrid. I shot a 69. Hurray! We went to a different course, The Bayou out near Apple Mountain...it isn't a mountain that you can actually see far away...it is a mountain that was dug out and people ski off it in the wintertime. Anyway, back to golf, the weather was perfect and there were two Northern Flickers hanging out with us much of the way, along with grass hoppers, crickets, yellow butterflies, bees, and of course, mosquitos.
