Safe and sound in Las Vegas . Here for the Microstrategy Conference focused on using business intelligence software tools to better manage business. The weather is in the high sixties and lovely.

I had not been in the Wynn Hotel before and I really like the mosaic tiled
Floors. And as I wandered a mile and a half through the warrens of the hotel I bumped into this group of seven young men from South Africa singing in the hallway. Wynn himself was listening to them. There were the listeners and those struggling to get through an appreciative audience to get to the buffet.

My room is lovely and I got an upgrade. I am facing Las Vegas Blvd. Reminds me a little of Time Square.
