While in London I went to see Jeff Goldblum and Mercedes Rheule in a Neil Simon play at the Vaudeville Theater...peeling grandeur and knees on your chin seats. It was very well acted. Goldblum is fascinating to watch. He has this remarkable command of his body and it is a very physical play. He has a grace that is nuanced one moment and expansive the next. He is very tall and uses all of his limbs to their fullest...I was fascinated with the expressive use of his hands almost as much as his words. Mercedes is a perfect foil...clever, emotionally controlled. I really enjoyed it.
